Learner’s Landing
Welcome! I’m Learner (or Leah, depending on when you met me).I no longer post on most socials but paradoxically am very social online, so I wanted to create this little space for people to do the usual looking around and to easily reach me.I can be slow to reply (all my mail is snail mail), but let’s be friends!

About Me
Learner (they/them)
millennial bookworm
perennial bedhead
I’m a primarily bedbound digital resident who delights daily in e-ink, houseplants, and dark chocolate.I love Nintendo games, otome games, and anything that involves learning or managing an inventory. I love classic Hollywood film, especially from the 40s. And, most of all, I love just about every genre of book, and even more when a book is two or three at once. (Hello nature writing illness memoir!)

POTS & OI
Do you have mysterious fatigue or digestive problems? Or are you already wondering if you might have POTS or another orthostatic intolerance? Whether it's idle curiosity or deep concern, please reach out to me! I'd be glad to chat, answer questions, or help you test yourself at home.It took almost ten years for my POTS to be diagnosed despite it being very common and simple to check for. My dream is that the easy screening test, which I’ve helped many friends and family perform, one day becomes part of routine physicals. What is POTS? 4 minutes:
POTS (& Long Covid) Explainer from RTHM
What Is POTS? from Dysautonomia International
NASA Lean Test from Bateman Horne Center

I help run an online book club for anyone who identifies in the ballpark of disability (including chronically ill, mentally ill, d/Deaf, neurodivergent, etc.). Each month we read a book by and about disabled folks, including both fiction and nonfiction. It’s a lovely place. If you’re interested in joining, reach out for a chat! You can click here to message me on Discord.
